So... It's been a really long time since I posted lol. A lot has been going on though and so I need to update. My professor lost a large grant in January, and I had to face a situation I wasn't expecting, that I wouldn't have enough funding to get my Ph.D. This situation ended up working out for the best though because it just so happened that I was at a good break point in my education, I was graduating with my Masters in the spring. I decided to job hunt, either around Dallas or closer to home. I ended up finding a job in Maryland, with Lockheed Martin. It worked out great, I really like the company and from the people I've met so far I believe I am going to enjoy it. When I talked to them it seemed like they would pay for me to continue my Ph.D. as well so that is good news too. I just arrived in Maryland last week, and I will start my job next Monday. I can't wait to be back in the workforce again, with a more somewhat regular schedule compared to what I was doing at school. Anyway, I'll try to update more soon but I'm still unpacking.

Well I got my grades for NLP and AI they are both A's, still haven't heard for my Machine Learning class, but I should have that grade tomorrow. So far a good start to the whole grad school thing. Now just two qualifiers and the semester is over for a while lol.

So I've been really busy with finals and haven't updated in a while. Finals and projects are over now. They were tough, and I won't know my grades until tomorrow, though. I know that NLP went well, and I hope/think that AI went rather well. What I'm worried about it Machine Learning. It was pretty rough, and I don't think I did that well. Then qualifiers are wednesday, and thursday. Once those are done I can finally relax. I'm just so tired of this, I need to relax and enjoy this break.
